  • If you use the contact form, your email address and the content of your email will be forwarded to a project-specific email address at McGill University. We advise you to not share important and sensitive information via the contact form.

All personal information that we collect for the MPN project is described in the consent forms that you will receive prior to enrolment in our study. All other non-personal information are described in“Forms and methods of collection” and “Log files and cookies” sections.

2. Forms and methods of collection

Your personal information (Name, date of birth) is collected through the following methods:

1. Consent forms (Hosted on a secure server at Research Institute McGill University Health Centre)

2. Enrollment forms (Hosted on a secure server at Research Institute McGill University Health Centre)

The information thus collected is used for the following purposes:

  • Contacting you to schedule your visits
  • Informing you of incidental findings
  • Compliance with research ethics regulations
  • Remuneration of your time, if applicable.

Google Captcha protection:

  • Partners : If an individual has consented to receive information from other researchers to participate in future biobanking studies by checking the corresponding box in a form.

Advertising and remarketing

To create advertisements about our study, Montreal Paris NEUROBANK may use Google AdWords and Facebook Ads tools. When the information provided by this service is used for  Montreal Paris NEUROBANK’s recruitment purposes, it is protected under this Policy. However, Google AdWords and Facebook Ads may collect data for their own use. 5. Personal information retention duration

The person responsible for processing personal information will keep all the personal information collected in the site’s computer systems and under reasonable security conditions for a period of four years.
